Before I gave Hanalei the book, I wanted to read it. That is how I found myself reading the picture book So Many Days in my bed a month ago. A children's book seems like a funny way for God to speak into my life, but hey, why not? For the last several days before that cozy night in my bed, I had been wondering if I was brave enough to move to the Dominican Republic. [Could I really make it? I'm not a strong person, I will surely fail and crumble.] I wanted to ask someone if they thought I was brave enough to go on this adventure. Sure enough, as I began to page through the book, God started answering.
I might not be "brave" enough for this crazy move, but God is bigger than any of my fears. Enjoy the book, Hanalei.
